Evaluation of flash

What I enjoyed about flash:
  1. Making animations
  2. Learning how to use tweens and keyframes
  3. Brcoming better at flash overall

Level 1 Creative Media visit to BBC Newcastle.

When we went to BBC Newcastle we done and seen a variety of things. In this picture, we were on the set of BBC News.
In this one, we were at the entrance being introduced to the building and recieving our visitor badges.

Again, on this one we were on the set of Look North, taking pictures of the room. This is a shot I got of the logo of Look North.

This last image is Colbie doing a news report, he Joe, Ryan and I took part in this.

Colbie -National news
Ryan -Regional
Joe -Weather
Me -Controlling the program

Overall, it was a really good day. Honestly, I never thought I'd genuinely enjoy it but I really liked taking shots of the building and controlling the news program when people were doing news/weather reports.

Making stuff move in Flash!

Today, I have learnt how to use Tweens and Keyframes in flash effectively to make things move in a movie!

How I did this:

1) Draw my images straight on screen
2) At the bottom of the screen is timeline, where action in the animation is set up
3) Click on a frame (little box) on the timeline to make a keyframe -A keyframe is any part of the sequence where something happens like the start or end of a movement.
4) Drag the images to a different part of the screen for the keyframe
5) Right move button over screen. Select motion tween.
Tween moves between the frame and another.
6) Save sequence as a gif and put it up on my blog.

Star Radio!

Today we went on a trip to Star Radio in Darlington.
We asked a variety of question based on the roles in working at a radio station, what type of music was played, the news, etc.
We went into a studio where they played all the music that went on air, we even got to hear one of the journalists at the station do a livr news report for the radio, which was fantastically done!
Here are some pictures the group got whilst we were there:

Bootmin

^Example

I am going to do animation using Flash and use a text-speech called Speakonia.

I am going ti be doing this on my own, the voices, the animation in general, etc.

I want to find out about flash because I find animation cool and I would like to learn how to create good, funny animations.

I want to find out how to use motion tweens effectively and how to make things move quickly/slowly across the screen.
